Nursing Care Specialist

Job Summary:
Health Advocates Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a valid and current RN license issued by the state of IL and proficiency in the English language.
Responsibilities:
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during treatments and examinations of patients.
• Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisors or physicians of patient conditions and reactions to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess patient conditions.
Requirements:
• A valid and current RN license issued by the state of IL.
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
• Proficiency in the English language for communication with other staff and patients.
