Job Summary

Raytheon's Airborne Multi-Mission Electronics Dept. is seeking an experienced firmware design engineer to work onsite in Goleta, CA to design and develop power conversion technologies for airborne military applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex state-of-the-art systems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.
  • Work in integrated product teams to design, develop, and manufacture electronic components and circuit boards.
  • Perform circuit analysis, circuit simulation, FPGA programming, design documentation, design verification and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience designing, debugging, testing electronics hardware.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required within one year of start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
