Job Title: Electrical Engineer II

Applied Medical is a leading medical device company that is committed to innovation and excellence. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to join our team in the Technology and Development Electrical group.

Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer II will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for medical devices. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the electrical systems meet product requirements and comply with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components for medical devices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Test and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on electrical system design
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • 1-2 years of professional engineering experience
  • Experience with Altium and other CAD tools
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with medical device development
  • Experience with analog and mixed signals design
  • Experience with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and/or CPLDs
  • Experience with Verilog, VHDL, C/C++, and/or assembly
