The products developed by Kumo, utilized by AWS clients and the support teams assisting them, are crucial for ensuring outstanding customer experiences on AWS.

We engage with all AWS Customers, from large and varied enterprises to smaller clients transitioning their infrastructure to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities


As a seasoned engineer, you will join a team tasked with constructing large-scale, customer-impacting, and long-term architectural initiatives, identifying and resolving persistent challenges.

You will encounter opportunities to tackle intricate issues, such as maintaining the customer commitment to safety, usability, and cost-effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications


3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) for new and existing systems

Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is determined by several factors, including market location, and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company.

Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a total compensation package, alongside a comprehensive range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
