About the Role

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing risk and compliance strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain risk and compliance strategies to mitigate potential threats and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and assess risks, and develop mitigation plans to address them.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls to protect our systems and data from unauthorized access or malicious activity.
  • Provide high-quality cybersecurity and risk management consulting to business leaders and organizations.
  • Partner with internal and external resources to gather data and develop action plans to address technology-related assessment findings.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, baselines, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in cybersecurity, security auditing, or a relevant IT role.
  • Experience in data processing and analytics preferred.
  • CISSP, CRISC, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in technology risk assessments and risk management preferred.
