Job Title: Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst to join our client's team in Houston, TX. As a Security Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's entire cyber security and compliance footprint, continuously monitoring and improving their security program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage governance and compliance frameworks to align with industry standards and regulations, including TSA regulations and O&G regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to compliance requirements and prepare and present compliance reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Utilize CrowdStrike and Fortinet technologies to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents, perform vulnerability assessments, and manage security incidents to mitigate risks.
  • Apply security best practices to protect operational technology (OT) systems and infrastructure, collaborate with OT teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into operational processes and systems, and address security challenges specific to the mid-stream sector and operational technology environments.
  • Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or vulnerabilities, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery, develop and maintain incident response plans, and conduct regular drills.
  • Work closely with IT and OT teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures, provide training and guidance on security policies, procedures, and best practices to employees, and collaborate with vendors and external partners to stay informed about the latest security technologies and trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on governance, compliance, and operational technology.
  • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike and Fortinet security solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are preferred.
