This is a contractual position to help with an upcoming project and will be based in Baltimore, MD.

As a Financial Accountant Assistant, you will work directly under the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for compiling and processing invoices and documents, tracking payment status, performing matches between invoices, and processing reimbursements, rent, and utility payments and bookstore purchases.

You will also work closely with the procurement team to track and pay invoices and answer inquiries from vendors and staff as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of related accounting experience and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. A high school diploma or GED is required, and government or education industry experience is highly valued.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Requirements:

  • Compile and process invoices and documents
  • Track payment status
  • Perform match between invoices
