About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Functional Manager to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our avionics development team, you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers in the design and development of electrical power systems for our lunar landers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers in the design and development of electrical power systems for our lunar landers.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement best practices and processes to ensure high-quality designs and efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other spacecraft systems.
  • Participate in program-level technology development, mission assurance, and safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines.
  • 2+ years managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups with responsibility for career management of employees.
  • 6+ years working in related disciplines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Deep understanding of the avionics development lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
What We Offer

At Blue Origin, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $125,235-$183,678 for on-site CO applicants and $136,620-$200,376 for on-site WA applicants. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
