Ce rôle se concentrera sur l'évaluation des implications financières des risques climatiques, tout en offrant la possibilité de contribuer à l'ensemble des travaux de notre équipe dans le domaine du changement climatique (y compris la transition énergétique vers un faible carbone et l'atteinte des objectifs de neutralité carbone).

Description du Poste & Responsabilités Clés :

En tant que membre de l'équipe de Conseil sur les Risques et Opportunités Climatiques, vous serez amené à :
  • Appliquer des méthodologies quantitatives pour les évaluations des risques et opportunités climatiques, y compris l'analyse des états financiers, la modélisation des flux de trésorerie actualisés, l'analyse coûts-bénéfices et l'analyse d'incertitude telle que les simulations de Monte Carlo.
  • Interagir directement avec des clients d'entreprise, y compris des dirigeants, pour les éduquer sur des sujets liés au climat, présenter vos travaux analytiques et défendre vos résultats quantitatifs.
  • Élaborer des méthodologies quantitatives standardisées pour l'estimation des risques climatiques pouvant être utilisées dans divers projets.
  • Intégrer une large gamme de sources de données dans vos analyses, y compris des données financières d'entreprise, des données climatiques géospatiales, des recherches académiques et des rapports spécifiques à l'industrie.
  • Soutenir la livraison des livrables clients en collaborant avec les membres de l'équipe à travers l'entreprise.
  • Un aspect clé de ce rôle sera de communiquer les résultats de manière compréhensible, tout en suscitant la curiosité des clients sur la manière de commencer leur transition vers une économie à faible carbone.
  • Contribuer aux activités de développement commercial et de vente, y compris l'aide à la rédaction de propositions pour les clients et le développement de nouvelles offres.
  • Participer à l'innovation et au partage des connaissances chez ERM à travers une implication ad hoc dans des initiatives de leadership éclairé, des bulletins internes, des sessions d'apprentissage, entre autres.

Exigences :
  • Formation : Expérience académique et professionnelle dans le domaine du changement climatique / durabilité ainsi que dans la finance/l'économie. Compréhension des fondamentaux du changement climatique, de son impact potentiel sur les modèles d'affaires, la stratégie, les revenus d'entreprise, ainsi que des concepts de décarbonisation et des voies vers la neutralité carbone.
  • Adaptabilité : Capacité à produire des livrables de haute qualité prêts pour les clients, à travailler de manière autonome, à être un joueur d'équipe, à faire preuve de pensée critique et à être à l'aise avec l'ambiguïté.
  • Compétences en Modélisation Financière : Utilisateur avancé d'Excel avec expérience dans la construction de modèles financiers, l'analyse quantitative et la manipulation de données (une connaissance du changement climatique est fortement souhaitée).
  • Communication : Excellentes compétences en communication, notamment dans la présentation de résultats complexes de manière accessible et dans la transmission de concepts techniques à un public non technique lors d'ateliers et de présentations.
Désirables :
  • Familiarité avec les cadres d'audit et réglementaires liés au climat et/ou à la finance tels que TCFD/CSRD/IFRS.
  • Connaissance des données d'indicateurs climatiques (par exemple, données historiques ou scénarios de variations climatiques).
  • Compétence en modélisation d'incertitude, y compris les simulations de Monte Carlo.
  • Expérience (par le biais d'études ou d'un rôle professionnel) dans le traitement des risques et opportunités liés au climat.
Expérience :
  • Diplôme de niveau supérieur dans un domaine pertinent.
  • Plus de 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle pertinente.
