Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently generate and evaluate new investment opportunities alongside Senior Portfolio Managers.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of macroeconomic trends within high-yield and leveraged loan sectors.
  • Oversee various processes that assist in determining optimal securities for acquisition or divestiture.
  • Develop and uphold methodologies for assessing relative value across the high-yield and leveraged loan markets.
  • Calculate and track portfolio metrics to gauge overall fund performance.
  • Stay updated with major financial publications daily for news and insights affecting our investments.
  • Support Senior Partners with ongoing private equity investments.
  • Deliver analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project assistance to private equity stakeholders and senior management.
  • Create comprehensive reports featuring key performance indicators, financial outcomes, and variance assessments.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for enhancing organizational performance.
  • Assist in the evaluation of M&A prospects and the exploration of new business avenues.
  • Coordinate routine tasks with interns and engage in mentoring initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in a prestigious investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, or consulting environment.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel modeling.
