We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality educational services to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of our students.
  • Provide direct instruction in academic, social, and life skills areas, ensuring students meet their IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs and interests of our students.
  • Regularly assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, attendance, and other required documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in the state of California.
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
