Job Summary and Qualifications
The Oncology Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to diverse patient populations within the Medical Surgical Units. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting acuity assessments and adhering to established standards of care.
- Utilizing the Nursing Process in the delivery of patient care.
- Maintaining accountability for professional decisions and actions.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse with an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in Oncology and Chemo Certification.
