Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Manager to join our team at Little Flower Inc. in Brooklyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office, including supervising staff, managing office supplies, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of office staff, including mailroom, telephone receptionist, custodial, and security personnel.
  • Oversee the purchasing of office supplies and equipment, and maintain a running inventory of all supplies on hand.
  • Ensure that all office equipment is in proper working condition and notify the repair service when necessary.
  • Coordinate the distribution of metro cards to clients and reconcile the account monthly.
  • Disburse petty cash as needed and reconcile the account monthly.
  • Assign FT Drivers to meet transportation needs and verify the return of vehicles and driver checklists.
  • Provide assistance with special arrangements for the conference room and schedule work for maintenance staff.
  • Supervise security personnel to ensure safety codes and conditions are adhered to.
  • Provide direct supervision to switchboard operators to ensure adequate coverage and proper call routing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred; related experience will be considered.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of general office terminology, procedures, and equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles of office management and supervision.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and direct subordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
