Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team at Youth & Family Services. This is a full-time position that requires a High School diploma or GED and Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) preferred.

About the Job:

This role involves assisting the Preschool Teacher in all aspects of classroom operation, including implementing lesson plans, field trips, and daily activities. You will create a healthy, safe, and learning environment for children's intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and aesthetic development.

Responsibilities:
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Maintain relationships with other staff and the public
  • Assist with lesson plans, field trips, and daily activities
  • Create a positive and trusting relationship with children and their families
  • Actively supervise and engage children at all times
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) preferred
  • Ability to communicate and cooperate with children, other staff, and parents effectively
Estimated Salary:

$40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience.
