Early Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Education Specialist to join our team at Youth & Family Services. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and daily activities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children to thrive.
- Support children in their intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and aesthetic development, promoting a love of learning and exploration.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.
- Accurately record and maintain child data, ensuring timely completion of documents and referrals as needed.
- Participate in classroom coverage, demonstrating punctuality and flexibility in response to program needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Early Education or related field REQUIRED.
- Ability to work with children of diverse backgrounds and needs, promoting inclusivity and respect.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
