Job Description

Job Title: Production Operator

Hourly Salary: $24.02

Rate of Pay: May be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety and housekeeping requirements within a manufacturing setting.
  • Operate production equipment, including troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met.
  • Record production data and other results in the required manner.
  • Apply basic maintenance skills to service equipment.
  • Participate in plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
  • Be adaptable to scheduling requirements, including shiftwork, overtime, and weekend assignments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.
  • Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions.
  • Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
  • Proficiency in taking measurements to verify product specifications.
  • Basic maintenance skills, including familiarity with common hand tools.
