Role Overview:
The Property Maintenance Operations Leader is responsible for overseeing a dedicated team of 15 technicians and supervisors across 106 properties, which encompass over 1600 residential units in San Diego County. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of property maintenance services while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to ensure optimal performance in property maintenance.
- Implement and manage effective business processes to enhance service delivery.
- Oversee general maintenance activities, expense management, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Exercise independent judgment to resolve issues and implement management decisions.
- Ensure timely and efficient handling of maintenance requests, aiming for completion within 24 hours.
- Maintain the aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of properties.
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with preventive maintenance directives.
- Facilitate communication between team members and management regarding maintenance concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, managing over 500 units.
- Proven leadership experience with a team of 5 or more members.
- Strong service orientation and commitment to resident satisfaction.
- Familiarity with AppFolio is preferred.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
