EHS Specialist for Process Safety

Our ideal candidate will develop and implement safety procedures that ensure compliance with regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of OSHA guidelines, health & safety laws, and the ability to identify risks associated with machinery, chemicals, and electrical systems in manufacturing environments.
We are seeking an EHS Specialist who has 2+ years of experience in manufacturing settings. The successful candidate must be proficient in job risk assessments and have excellent communication skills. They should also be able to write accident investigation reports independently and possess a strong problem-solving mindset.
In this role, you will participate in root cause investigations of plant incidents, assist in the completion of incident reports, and help implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Additionally, you will prepare and facilitate safety bulletins and training sessions for team members, update and maintain safety policies and procedures, and track and report trending data.
The EHS Specialist will work closely with the safety committee to lead safety initiatives and assess industrial hygiene factors. They will provide recommendations for hazard mitigation and collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals based on safety performance indicators.

What We're Looking For:- 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing environments
- Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and health & safety laws
- Familiarity with job risk assessments and the ability to identify risks associated with machinery, chemicals, and electrical systems
- Experience participating in accident investigations and writing independent accident investigation reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
This EHS Specialist position is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary of $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
