Job Summary

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in a Labor and Delivery setting. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to abnormal patterns
  • Assist with cesarean sections and other surgical procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of New Jersey
  • 2-3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and FHM Intermediate Level certifications
  • Strong experience with IVs and medication administration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour workweek. The shift will be 12 hours, nights, with every other weekend required. The facility is a Level 2 L&D with 1000 deliveries annually.
