Key Responsibilities of the Caregiver Support Specialist:
- Assist residents in performing daily activities, simple medical treatments, and addressing emotional health or behavioral concerns as outlined in their service plans.
- Contribute to the creation and modification of service plans by communicating resident needs and preferences to the supervisor, along with effective service strategies.
- Monitor and report any resident issues to the licensed practical nurse (LPN) or medication technician/aide on duty.
- Engage in onboarding, annual training, and team meetings as required.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Wellness Director.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain any necessary certifications as mandated by state or provincial regulations.
- Comply with state or provincial health-related requirements.
Benefits Offered:
