Job Overview:
The Business Solutions Analyst is tasked with spearheading the gathering, evaluation, documentation, and coordination of client business needs across various projects and initiatives. This role collaborates with multiple stakeholders within one or more business divisions to ensure that technological solutions are in harmony with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
The Business Solutions Analyst operates in a leadership role alongside Project Control team members, client business partners, and other IT departments to ensure that technology solutions and/or processes align with both Information Technology and business strategies. This position is accountable for engaging with stakeholders to gather, evaluate, and document functional business requirements for complex business challenges that necessitate the design or integration of technical solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Expertise in SharePoint and SharePoint Online
    • Strong comprehension of file server architectures and unstructured data
    • Experience utilizing migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix)
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Ability to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
Core Functions:
  • Evaluate and analyze existing unstructured file server data
  • Formulate migration strategies and timelines
  • Implement data migration to SharePoint with minimal disruption
  • Work closely with IT and business units to guarantee successful migration
  • Identify and resolve migration challenges
  • Document procedures and develop training materials for end-users

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in business analysis
  • At least 2 years of experience in SharePoint migrations
  • Demonstrated success in managing mid-sized migration projects
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards
