As a Behavioral Health Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injury, emotional or behavioral disabilities, or other specialized populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assistance with daily activities, such as socialization, behavioral development, personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, community integration, shopping, and citizenship.
- Accurately document progress and activity, reviewing records and logs to stay up-to-date with changes in service plans.
- Provide clinical expertise, including knowledge of specialized populations and expertise in special disciplines such as behavioral support, early intervention, crisis intervention, or others.
- May accompany individuals to medical appointments, relay orders and information to and from medical providers, and travel between sites, to individuals' homes, and into the community.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Six months of experience in human services preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Arizona drivers license in good standing.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
- Full, part-time, and as-needed schedules available.
