Job Summary

Chimes is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one services to children and adolescents, working to reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home, school, and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Clinical Service Delivery Goals: Work with our team to develop and implement clinical service delivery goals that align with our agency's overall objectives and policies.
  • Report and Document Progress: Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, reporting to direct supervisors and administrative staff as required.
  • Complete Training Requirements: Complete all necessary training requirements, including state-mandated training, to ensure compliance with licensure standards.
  • Provide Services: Deliver high-quality services to clients, adhering to best practice standards and program descriptions.
  • Maintain Professional Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, families, payers, community support service representatives, coworkers, and other agencies.
  • Participate in Interagency Meetings: Represent Chimes in an effective and professional manner in all contacts with clients, payers, and collateral staff.
  • Develop Internal Systems: Collaborate with colleagues to develop internal systems that improve and ensure quality services.
  • Promote Safe and Socially Acceptable Behaviors: Encourage clients to develop a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention to clients, when necessary, to stabilize acute crises.
  • Participate in Supervision and Meetings: Participate in all required individual and peer supervision, as well as applicable program staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience: One year of full-time experience in providing mental health support services to youth or young adults.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Certification as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) is required.
  • Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history clearances are required.
