Key Responsibilities

As the Accounting Manager, you will:

  • Lead the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashiering, and Night Audit teams.
  • Conduct interviews, facilitate hiring, and provide training and development for team members.
  • Manage performance evaluations, resolve conflicts, and maintain open communication within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and relevant laws.
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements to guarantee accurate financial data.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget and other financial forecasts.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls across departments to minimize risks and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Address any issues related to accounting systems and equipment.
  • Review tenant agreements and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications

Education: A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one to two years in hospitality management or accounting is required.

Knowledge/Skills: You should possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions and financial management.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication and supervisory abilities.
