Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in the Gig-Harbor, WA area. As a CNA, you will have access to shifts at a variety of facilities and the freedom to choose shifts that fit your schedule. This is a great opportunity for part-time and full-time work.


Responsibilities
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the physician's plan of care.
  • Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change.
  • Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
  • Assist the physician in complex nursing situations.
  • Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care.
  • Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition.
  • Functions as a resource person and mentor to peers and subordinates to maintain professional nursing standards.
  • Acts on patients, resident's behalf to assure patient rights and wellness.
