Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for assisting project managers with detailed engineering analysis, preparing engineering reports, permit applications, and construction plan preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft procedures and system requirements for clients
  • Utilize various design software to create detailed engineering plans
  • Coordinate with municipal, transportation, traffic, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare permit applications for various municipalities
  • Design flexible and rigid pavement systems
  • Develop geometric pavement and site circulation designs
  • Prepare specifications and cost estimates for projects
  • Conduct traffic warrants and guardrail warrants
  • Direct and train Civil Designers to assist with report preparation, exhibit creation, plan development, and permit applications
  • Perform additional functions as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years of qualifying experience
  • Mastery knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to interpret state and local design criteria and apply it to project needs
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality construction documents
