About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Team Lead to join our team at Tempur Sealy. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling and marketing our high-end products, and serving as a leader and mentor to our store associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support management in overall store leadership and supervision, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Drive brand awareness and advocacy, exceeding projected store goals by partnering with local businesses and organizations to raise awareness across the region.
  • Aide in recruiting, hiring, and developing store associates, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Serve as a role model in providing a premium customer experience, building strong relationships with our consumers, and promoting our brand values.
  • Support management in maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation, ensuring our stores are always visually appealing and engaging.
  • Ensure financial objectives and controls are consistently and correctly managed, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • In the absence of store management, provide leadership and direction to ensure the store operates to Tempur-Pedic standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and open environment across all areas of the company, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 1-3 years of retail management experience in high-end luxury and/or custom products.
  • Strong sales skills in a consultative environment, with the ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, with the ability to adapt to changing store needs and patterns.
  • Fluency with current retail software and computer systems, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
