About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medication Aide to join our team at Mira Vie at Green Knoll. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and service plans.
  • Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals, families, and other staff members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document resident care and services provided in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in meal service and maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Supervise staff under your direction and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with ongoing training and certifications required by local and state licensing agencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function.
  • State Required HHA Certification or CNA License.
  • Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field.
  • Ability to read physician orders and match to Medication Administration Records for residents.
  • Understanding of medical terminology adequate to pass medications and communicate with medical professionals.
