We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our urgent care clinics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for examination and treatment, taking vital signs, and assisting physicians with various medical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with injections, lab testing, and phlebotomy needs
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as needed
  • Coordinate patient physicals and work place injuries for partner accounts
  • Screen incoming calls for referral to physicians and practitioners

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting
  • Experience using an EHR system
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is helpful
