Job Summary
At University Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Records Representative PRN to join our team. As a key member of our Health Information Management team, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and using electronic health records in accordance with our health record policies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform specialized health information activities under the direct supervision of the Health Information Manager.
- Contribute to the overall success of the Health Information Management team.
- Comply with all Federal and State regulations and accrediting bodies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree in Health Information Management or a related field preferred.
- One year of health care experience in a health care environment with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred.
