We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team at STRIDE Community Health Center. As a Psychiatrist, you will provide medication management and therapeutic services to identify, diagnose, and treat patients with various psychiatric conditions.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Primary Care Providers, Behavioral Health Providers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. You will also provide psychoeducation to patients and families, work with leadership to develop a model for chart reviews and consultation, and initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatments.
Responsibilities:- Provide exemplary clinical services within the qualifications and experience of a Physician and adhere to the standards and principles of medical ethics.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments using the bio-psycho-social model and identify, diagnose, and clarify psychiatric conditions according to the DSM-5.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans through multi-disciplinary collaboration and work with leadership to develop a model for chart reviews and consultation.
- Initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatments, order and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic test results as needed, and coordinate with healthcare professionals when hospitalization is required.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families when clinically appropriate and work collaboratively with medical assistants to streamline clinical workflow and optimize the patient's experience of care.
- Board certified Psychiatrist in active and good standing with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
- Bilingual candidates preferred but not required.
- Preferred experience working with diverse and multi-cultural patient populations, integrated care settings, co-occurring substance use disorders, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)/Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) services.
- Ability to work independently, analyze and synthesize data, exercise effective judgment, and handle HIPAA sensitive information ethically and responsibly.
- Competitive salary range of $215,000-$258,000 annually.
