We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at the University of Colorado. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to children and adolescents in our outpatient and consultation programs.
About the Role:- Provide evidence-based care to children and adolescents in multi-disciplinary settings
- Develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain timely and focused documentation through the electronic medical record and/or RedCap Database
- Conduct one-time-only consultations to aid in diagnostic clarification and guide treatment in the primary care setting
- Apply and implement evidence-based approaches to care, including using evidence-based guidelines for prescriptions and monitoring medications in the pediatric population
- Develop, train, and supervise psychiatry and psychology trainees
- Carry a caseload on the outpatient psychiatric unit and serve on the consultation team in the CoPPCAP program
- Participate in educational activities and development of management support materials for pediatric primary care providers
- Colorado Medical License
- DEA Certificate
- Board Certified in Psychiatry or Board eligible in Child Psychiatry within 3 years of hire
- Prior experience in a Child Psychiatric setting, having completed a child/adolescent residency, academic/residency program-related experience highly desirable
- Competitive salary range: $220,000 to $310,000
