Senior Hardware Engineer

At Apple, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with hardware innovation. As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing cutting-edge hardware solutions that drive our products forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize designs to achieve groundbreaking power, area, and timing goals
  • Deliver timing-clean, logically equivalent netlists to the physical design team
  • Collaborate with functional teams to drive innovation and push the limits of technology
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of STA, Verilog/VHDL, and Synthesis
  • Deep knowledge of physical design concepts and constraints, including floor-planning, placement, congestion, and setup/hold timing closure
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with ECO implementation, simulation, debugging tools, and working closely with the DV team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree + 3 years of experience
  • Familiarity with DFT insertion, multi-mode timing constraints, and multi-clock/multi-power domain designs
