Key Responsibilities:

As the Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Support the Location Manager in overseeing all aspects of restaurant and facility operations.
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling for Haymaker, addressing employee and HR matters as needed.
  • Create weekly labor and revenue forecasts.
  • Manage payroll processes and timekeeping.
  • Ensure accuracy in cash handling and auditing procedures.
  • Monitor beverage inventory and communicate ordering needs.
  • Facilitate ongoing training for service standards.
  • Conduct inventory assessments of on-site products.
  • Implement theft prevention measures.
  • Enhance the guest dining experience through active floor presence.
  • Lead daily shift meetings to promote communication and staff morale.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures for the facility.
  • Participate in weekly food safety audits and ensure compliance with temperature checks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage sector.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • A comprehensive understanding of quick-service restaurant operations and fine dining standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • The capability to serve as a role model for service excellence.

Physical Requirements:

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and able to:

  • Work indoors and outdoors, standing or walking for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 35 lbs. and manage heavy items as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.

Additional Information:

Certification in Serve Safe and TIPS will be required shortly after hiring. This is a salaried, exempt position, and weekend and holiday work may be necessary.
