Job Summary

Selects and administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to and during surgical or medical procedures as a member of the anesthesia care team. Monitors patient reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia, taking remedial action when warranted.

About This Role

This is a highly specialized position that requires expertise in anesthesia administration. As a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), you will be responsible for conducting and reviewing anesthetic evaluations, consulting with anesthesiologists and surgeons, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough anesthetic evaluations to identify potential risks and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer intravenous and spinal anesthetics, monitoring patient responses and adjusting as needed.
  • Work closely with anesthesiologists and surgeons to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of anesthetics administered and patient reactions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care regimens for assigned patients.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of anesthesia by date of hire.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (California) required at hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
