Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Resource Label Group LLC. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales cycle by facilitating customer orders for product and serving as a liaison between customers, sales, and production.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain relationships with customers via telephone and email, receiving all art, orders, and requests for pricing and advising customers regarding the status of their orders in process.
* Speak directly with prospective customers, collecting customer information and product specifications.
* Receive purchase orders from customers via email, fax, or telephone, reviewing all aspects of the order before accepting the order and confirming.
* Coordinate artwork to determine availability of cutting die and cylinders.
* Monitor the proof through the entire life cycle of the process to ensure that it moves seamlessly through all departments to final production.
* Hold all new production orders to the highest standard and await until customer approves proofs, product design, and other specifications.
* Process new purchase orders into the system specific to individual job and customer, including any particular delivery or shipping requirements.
* Notify all pertinent plant personnel of any special orders around purchasing, production, or rush orders, maintaining clear and fluid communication at all times.
* Route supplies, job jacket, and materials such as paste-ups, artwork, copy, film, or prints to work areas to put job order into production.
* Resolve inquiries and investigate complaints in a timely manner, exhibiting excellent service and follow-through.
* Alert team members to the existence of, and seek resolution to production issues that may delay the shipment of an order.
* Prioritize orders as necessary, which may require selecting from several alternatives to best service the customer's needs.
* Receive tickets for shipped or delivered product and begin the billing process, verifying shipping report against packing lists and reviewing Customer Transaction Report.
Requirements:
* Two to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, printing or packaging industry experience is a huge plus.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
* Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors, and customers.
