About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a meticulous Senior Accountant to oversee diverse accounting operations for a non-profit client based in Philadelphia, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and administer general ledger accounting, financial statements, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Craft and scrutinize financial reports, budget plans, and projections, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Utilize MS Dynamics 365 for financial data management, reporting, and examination, maximizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Aid in formulating and supervising fiscal controls and procedures, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing risk.
  • Facilitate yearly audits, preparing required files and timetables, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance financial understanding and support strategic goals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements
  • Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred), providing a solid foundation for success.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with 2 years focused on non-profit organizations, showcasing a track record of achievement.
  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 or MS Business Central, leveraging technology to drive results.
  • In-depth knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Attention to detail with ability to meet stringent deadlines, delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships and collaborating effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

$40.00 to $55.00 per hour, recognizing the value and expertise of our team members.
