Job Title: Network Administrator

About the Role:

The Network Administrator will be responsible for managing the functionality and efficiency of a network operations center supporting IT infrastructure at multiple locations. This includes developing, tracking, revising, and monitoring policies and standards for allocation related to the use of IT and computing resources, as well as ensuring the integrity and security of network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage network operations center and IT infrastructure at multiple locations
  • Develop and maintain policies and standards for IT resource allocation
  • Ensure network infrastructure integrity and security
  • Assist end-users with IT issues
  • Respond to requests and conduct network systems and hardware accountability and materiel destruction
  • Provide remote assistance to IT fielding technicians
  • Manage and monitor network equipment using network monitoring tools
  • Utilize Remedy ticketing system to create, update, and resolve tickets
  • Conduct technical writing to document network equipment information
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, and other networking technologies
  • Configure and troubleshoot COMSEC devices
  • Support Cisco Unified Communications suite of technologies
  • Provide advice and training to end-users and senior leadership
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies

Requirements:

  • Must be a self-starter who can take senior-leader guidance and intent
  • Must be DoD M compliant, IAT II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP)
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology
  • Coachable and Receptive
  • Effective Client-facing skills
  • Availability to travel up to 20% in support of customer mission needs

Clearance and Experience:

  • Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in analysis simulation environment, configuring and troubleshooting software/hardware enhancements, application deployments, and infrastructure upgrades
  • Demonstrated experience with client-side hardware and network-side hardware installation
  • Experience with a variety of COMSEC devices, CISCO routing and switching equipment, CISCO VoIP, CISCO VTC, Networked Printers, Windows OS, and PC hardware
