  • Lead and implement one-on-one, small group, and large group activities according to the programming schedule, fostering a sense of community and engagement among residents.
  • Support and encourage residents to pursue their interests and hobbies, both individually and in small groups, recognizing the value of their unique backgrounds and experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, understanding their needs, preferences, and abilities, and reporting any changes in their condition or behavior to the Activity Director.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues.
  • Qualifications by experience and training to develop programs appropriate for elders and disabled individuals.
  • Possesses training and knowledge in recreational activities, with a focus on creating engaging and meaningful experiences for residents.
