Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is in search of a proactive and articulate individual to fill the role of Compliance Coordinator. This position is essential in ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards across our facilities. The Compliance Coordinator will oversee the ESA database and provide training to staff regarding relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual evaluations and inspections, maintaining accurate records and effective communication with corporate and regulatory bodies.
- Design, implement, and deliver annual compliance training sessions for plant personnel and new hires, covering OSHA, EPA, food safety, and internal policies. Collaborate with external agencies for additional training as needed.
- Supervise employee and equipment compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Manage the ESA system, ensuring timely updates of tasks and thorough documentation of incidents.
- Assist in the recruitment process and administer random drug testing for employees.
- Participate in special projects and provide coverage for supervisory roles during absences.
- Engage in community and corporate meetings.
- Lead the safety committee by organizing meetings, addressing topics, and developing solutions to safety challenges.
- Enforce organizational policies and review operational procedures for compliance.
