We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Facilities Mechanic to join our team at the University System of New Hampshire. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of building system equipment components.
Under general supervision, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical drives, fans, motors, and other equipment. You will also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair/replacement work on building equipment and systems.
As a Senior Facilities Mechanic, you will work closely with our facilities team to ensure that all building equipment is functioning properly and efficiently. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with team members, contractors, and supervisors.
This is a first shift position, Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. The ideal candidate will have a high school education or equivalent, a valid motor vehicle operator's license, and a combination of education, certifications, and work experience equal to 8 years in all aspects of building mechanics.
