Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities of personnel at assigned bases, reporting to the Regional Director of Base Operations, and collaborating with the Aviation, Maintenance, and Membership Departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily base activities of Flight Nurses and Flight Paramedics
  • Collaborate with Base Pilot Supervisor for pilot activities
  • Assure proper coverage for all medical shifts
  • Assist on-duty medical crew with securing replacement staff for sick calls
  • Review electronic payroll of medical crew for accuracy and submit for approval before deadline
  • Resolve medically related problems or issues as they occur
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of medical staff performance
  • Assure proper use, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment and supplies
  • Participate in evaluation of new equipment/supplies and oversee inventory and supplies
  • Oversee base spending and submit required reports as defined by policy
  • Responsible for maintenance and organization of facilities
  • Run monthly staff meetings at assigned base
  • Ensure crew members follow policy for work-related injuries and exposures
  • Submit detailed reports to the RDBO
  • Collaborate with Educator and Medical Director to resolve deficiencies
  • Collaborate with Communications Supervisor and RDBO on Communications Center issues
  • Review monthly CQI reports and refer those with deficiencies to appropriate personnel
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient project/task completion and organizational skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to elicit staff involvement and positive approach to problem solving
  • Computer literacy required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Permanent residence within 70 miles of base location
  • Two years of Supervisor/Leadership experience preferred
