Medical Professional with Patient-Centered Care Skills

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Lancaster General Health. This is a full-time position located in the Lancaster area, offering competitive compensation and benefits.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a high level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for visits by using appropriate rooming standards tools
- Administer injections as prescribed by providers and in accordance with practice protocols
- Provide gross observations to providers or licensed nurses for interpretation as necessary
- Prepares and assists providers with various procedures, minor surgeries, and other exams as designated by the provider
- High school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution (AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHTR) or completion of a Medical Assistant training/education program prior to hire
- CPR Certification required: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support
- A valid driver's license is required for regional positions only

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
