About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurse (Float) to join our team at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. As an inpatient Registered Nurse, you will administer nursing care to patients with diverse medical needs and provide education on health maintenance and disease prevention. Your attention to detail and ability to monitor patient conditions will ensure timely intervention and quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, innovative, and specialized care to patients in the community
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $$83,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This figure includes base pay and shift differential pay based on company policy or union contract.
