SCOPE OF POSITION:

Foster a positive and efficient environment for preparing goods for sale. Provide assistance to sales floor personnel and customers.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Preferred experience in a production setting, thrift store, or retail sales environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist customers and donors with a friendly and helpful demeanor
  • Support production goals
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Accurate operation of the cash register
  • Ensure timely stocking of products
  • Rotate merchandise from the sales floor to appropriate areas
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist regularly
  • Capability to lift objects weighing up to 75 lbs
  • Standing for extended periods

All employees are required to wear the designated uniform while on duty. Personal music devices are not permitted in the store.
