Pharmacist - Cancer Center

As a Pharmacist with Asante, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Our pharmacy practice settings include centrally located and unit-based pharmacists who perform therapeutic interchanges, IV to PO switches, renal dose adjustments, pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring, warfarin dosing and monitoring, anticoagulation monitoring, drug level monitoring, antimicrobial monitoring, patient education, and many other clinical functions.
You will also have opportunities to participate in Code Blues and precept pharmacy residents and students. Additionally, we use Epic Pharmacy software and Omni-Cell Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Electronic Medical Administration, and bar-coding at the bedside.
Our team of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs work 10-hour shifts, primary days and evenings with shared rotation of weekends every two or three weeks and occasional nights. Shift differentials for swing, night, and weekend hours also apply.

Pharmacists must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively represent the Pharmacy to the patient and public and to interact with clinical teams.
They should also participate and contribute to various institutional/department committees.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy required
- Successful completion of an ASHP-accredited residency, preferred
- No experience required; new graduates and retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply
- Registered Pharmacist by Oregon Board of Pharmacy required upon start
- Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required within 90 days of start
