Job Summary

Talent Elite Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication of financial information.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience with GAAP financial statement reporting and footnote preparation.
  • Prefer at least ten (10) years cumulative experience with investment advisory entities (Real Estate or Private Equity), REITs, Limited Partnerships or joint venture structures whether in public accounting or private equity industry.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with institutional investor reporting requirements (ex. GIPS, NACRIEF, PERE, PRI, Time Weighted Return, Form ADV, Form PF, Gross vs. Net Performance, IRR, Equity Multiple, ROA)
  • Ability to read and understand entity formation documents or investment offering documents along with a general knowledge of tax reporting is a big plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • CPA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred.
  • Public accounting experience a plus.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft 365 Suite and accounting software, Yardi preferred.
  • Critical thinking and skills in financial analysis and project management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team construct.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with great organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to communicate timely, professionally and cross-functionally.
  • Excellent business references.
  • Well-organized and detailed oriented individual with the highest degree of integrity, motivation and intellectual curiosity.
  • Skilled in working across heavily matrixed organizations which requires significant influencing and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in Irvine, CA office 5 days a week.
