We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School-Based Clinician to join our team at the Bucksport Regional Health Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary behavioral health team, you will provide direct treatment services to students and their families in a rural health center setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health, substance use disorder, and wellness services to students and their families.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, conduct clinical assessments, and provide diagnosis and treatment.
  • Collaborate with educational professionals and work closely with families to address behavioral health issues.
  • Participate in crisis management and provide support to students and families in need.
  • Work in a school office-based setting and integrate with a primary care setting, working closely with a team of behavioral health professionals and medical practitioners.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in social work or counseling, or doctorate in psychology, required.
  • Licensed practitioner in the State of Maine; maintaining licensing requirements strongly preferred or candidate with conditional license may be considered.
  • At least three years of experience in social work or counseling preferred.
  • Experience in assessing and treating substance abuse and dependency preferred.
