Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Park Place Technologies. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers on-site, ensuring timely and effective resolution of hardware and software issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support to customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of hardware and software issues.
  • Perform diagnostic analysis and repair of hardware, storage area networks, and system configurations.
  • Utilize multiple tools for remote system connection to perform remote diagnosis, repair, or configuration changes.
  • Follow customer-specific repair procedures and maintain accurate inventory count.
  • Accurately complete and timely return audit forms, email replies, timesheets, and expense reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum seven (7) years specific experience working with OEM data center hardware.
  • Solid technical aptitude and understanding of different OEM equipment.
  • Ability to work long and/or unusual hours while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated experience providing Customer Service and ability to put the Customer Needs first.
  • Proven ability to work independently, while exhibiting leadership and collaboration, when working with others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification and other OEM computer hardware certifications from major vendors such as Dell, IBM, HP, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (i.e. Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
