Field Applications Engineer

FARO Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Field Applications Engineer to join our team. As a Field Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical training support, pre-sale demonstrations, and expertise in coordinate measurement to our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field. You will also have excellent understanding of 2D and 3D CAD, ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, and clear oral/written communications.
Responsibilities will include delivering FARO hardware and software training to customers and employees, evaluating customer's basic measurement requirements, and adapting standardized FARO training to specific customers. You will also work with customers to ensure effective transfer of learning from the classroom to the work environment.
